About us

We are
Fahrspass.

Started with one clear aim: learning to drive without detours, without hidden costs and without wasting your time.

Why Fahrspass exists

The problem

  • Driving schools that string you along for months — one lesson a week
  • Hidden costs: you end up paying more than you thought
  • Irritable instructors, no patience, no explanation
  • A language barrier — everything in German only, even when you do not follow it

Our answer

  • Theory classes that actually run — Mon, Wed, Thu 18:30–20:00 · Sat 9:30–11:00 and 11:00–12:30
  • Transparent prices: what is on the website is what you pay
  • Patience — we explain as often as it takes, without getting annoyed
  • Four languages: German, Kurdish, Turkish, English

The school and the place

Fahrspass is a driving school at exactly one address: Oststraße 122, in the middle of Düsseldorf, right at the Oststraße U-Bahn stop and six minutes on foot from the main station. Signing up, advice and the theory classes all happen in the same rooms — none of it sends you somewhere else.

The theory classes run in our own classroom, to a fixed timetable: Mon, Wed, Thu 18:30–20:00 · Sat 9:30–11:00 and 11:00–12:30. The 14 compulsory topics come round in a circle there: you can join at any class and repeat any topic as often as you like.

The driving starts from here too — which is where you will actually be driving afterwards: multi-lane roads, tram rails, cyclists, pedestrians stepping out between parked cars. If you would rather start somewhere calmer, the residential streets around us are a few minutes away.

What we stand for

  • 01

    Transparency

No hidden costs and no small print. What is on the website is what you pay. What we promise, we keep to.

  • 02

    No dead time

Your time is worth something. Theory classes that run regularly, driving lessons close together, a quick entry for the test. No waiting around for the sake of it.

  • 03

    Respect

Everybody learns differently. We do not push anyone and we do not laugh at anyone. Beginner, coming back to it, or nervous behind the wheel — you are welcome.

  • 04

    Honesty

We tell you when you are not ready yet. And we do not recommend the more expensive course when the cheaper one is enough.

Who teaches you

Two instructors and one office: Ares and Yusuf sit in the car with you, Aland keeps the paperwork off your back. Always the same three faces.

First consultation

Free, and with no obligation. Drop by or give us a call — we will tell you honestly what is ahead of you.

Four languages

German, Kurdish, Turkish and English. When we advise you, and when we talk to your parents too.
